Cindy Turkington is the founder and owner of Fair Trust Financial LLC. Fair Trust Financial LLC was started because Cindy passionately believes that people deserve independent, objective, and transparent wealth management and financial planning guidance that are based on the values of integrity, trust and mutual respect. She believes in developing long-term, purposeful relationships with her clients. Her clients appreciate her guidance and understand that they are partners in a journey that will help them attain their financial and life goals.
Cindy spent the first chapter of her career on the institutional side of the business working for twelve years as an institutional equity trader where her clients were mutual fund companies, banks, insurance companies and private money managers. While she loved the fast pace of working on a trading desk and making rapid decisions on multimillion dollar transactions for her institutional clients, she has enjoyed the transition to working with individuals, families and business owners and helping them make smart choices with their money through a thoughtful, step by step process that begins with listening to each client and discovering what their priorities and needs are in planning for their future.
In her free time, Cindy enjoys tending to her extensive gardens on her property and grows flowers and vegetables in her community garden plot. She loves cooking with all of the fresh items grown in her garden and trying new recipes. She also likes playing tennis, Pilates, enjoying the outdoors, travel, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Cindy is an active volunteer in her community and church. She also is a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
